I only have 1600 miles on mine so I have not yet changed the clutch cable. I have changed them on other bikes, it was never hard to do, just follow the design and see where everything goes and put the new one on exactly the same as the old one was. The book (OEM) says that you should have 3mm or .12 or 1/8 inch play at the hand lever before the clutch begins to disengage. Be sure to keep the cable oiled. I am interested to know how much mileage you were able to get out of your cable, and did you oil it at all?
